General Requirements

We expect all applicants to cover their tuition and housing in full.  However, Under the Volcano offers partial financial aid to a small number of accepted participants with demonstrated need, based on proof of monthly income and expenses. Such proof (tax forms, pay stubs, bank statements, receipts for housing or loans) must be uploaded with your application and to be considered you must check the financial aid box on the form.

Processing these requests involves a great deal of extra staff time. Please do not request financial aid if you don’t need it. 

If finances will be an issue, we encourage you to seek outside funding from other sources.
