I have been a journalist covering immigration issues at the San Diego-Tijuana border since 2016. I worked at The San Diego Union-Tribune for more than seven years, and am known nationally for my work on the U.S. asylum system and border policies. I am a co-founder of Daylight San Diego, and launched Beyond the Border News in 2024. When I’m not doing journalism, I teach capoeira and dance, and go for walks with my dog Corcholata.
Soy periodista que desde 2016 he cubierto el tema de la migración en la frontera San Diego. Trabajé para The San Diego Union-Tribune durante más de siete años, y soy reconocida a nivel nacional por mis reportajes sobre el sistema de asilo en los Estados Unidos y las políticas fronterizas.
