Tommy Orange is the New York Times bestselling author of There There. His newest novel, Wandering Stars, was published by Alfred A. Knopf in February 2024. He was born and raised in Oakland, California, and is an enrolled member of the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes of Oklahoma. He has published in the New Yorker, the New York Times, GQ, Esquire, Harpers Bazaar, Ploughshares and Zoetrope. Tommy has been faculty at the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe, New Mexico since 2017. His work has been translated into more than twenty-five languages. He is a husband and a father and is currently working on his third novel.
