I’ve been part of a creative writing program in Dutch since 2018 and have published a few stories in Dutch. My professional background is in medical imaging and I am a participant in the professional training of Gabor Maté’s Compassionate Inquiry, a trauma-informed therapeutic approach. I’m currently shifting gears on several levels: I’m spending a lot more time on writing at the moment and have recently started writing in English, in the midst of finding a new voice. I’m writing an epistolary novel with autofictional elements. My work has a wide variety of themes: identity, grief, migration, art, (intergenerational) trauma, queerness, esotery and other undiscovered territory.
He formado parte de un programa de escritura creativa en neerlandés desde 2018 y he publicado algunos cuentos en ese idioma. Además, tengo una formación profesional en imagen médica y estoy participando en la capacitación profesional de la ‘Inquisición Compasiva’ de Gabor Maté, un enfoque terapéutico informado por el trauma. Estoy cambiando de rumbo en varios sentidos: , en este momento dedico mucho más tiempo a la escritura, y recientemente empecé a escribir en inglés, como parte de mi búsqueda de una nueva voz. Actualmente, trabajo en una novela epistolar con elementos autofictivos.. Mi obra abarca una amplia variedad de temas: identidad, duelo, migración, arte, trauma (intergeneracional), queer, esoterismo y otros territorios por descubrir.
