Director of Technology
Born in Monterrey, Mexico, Héctor was raised in Mexico City, where his neighborhood movie house first awakened his interest in storytelling. He studied photography and video at the Coyoacan Active Photography School, where he learned to speak the language of image. After further studies in Cuba and Chicago to attend scriptwriting and experimental cinema workshops, he founded his own production company, Cinealquimia, with the dual project of creating both fiction and documentary cinema. He currently freelances on films, documentaries and institutional cinema, as well as in commercial TV for different production companies.
