Poesía con Ben Clark
Soy Diego. Nací y crecí en la cada vez más insólita Ciudad de México. Sobrevivo aquí a pesar de siempre añorar la calma de los espacios abiertos y los jardines. Fué en alguno de esos lugares naturales donde nació mi necesidad de escritura, que hoy se desenvuelve en formas poéticas y ensayísticas. Estoy siempre en búsqueda de ideas y temas nuevos. Actualmente me entusiasman las dimensiones contemporáneas de la poesía documental. En UTV espero afinar mi sensibilidad y escritura, cosa no imposible entre el horizonte de Tepoztlán y el talento de mi tutor y compañerxs. Aunque he estado pocas veces en el sureste, mis favs absolutos son la cochinita pibil y los cenotes yucatecos.
I’m Diego. I was born and raised in the increasingly extraordinary Mexico City. I survive here despite always yearning for the calm of open spaces and gardens. It was in one of those natural places where my need for writing was born, which now unfolds through poetic and essay forms. I am always in search of new ideas and topics. Currently, I am fascinated by the contemporary dimensions of documentary poetry. At UTV, I hope to refine my sensitivity and writing—a goal that seems entirely possible between the horizon of Tepoztlán and the talent of my tutor and classmates. Although I have only been to the southeast a few times, my absolute favorites are cochinita pibil and the Yucatán cenotes.
