General Requirements

In addition to our competitive merit-based full fellowships, Under the Volcano offers partial need-based financial aid to a limited number of participants based on proof of monthly income and expenses. Such proof (tax forms, pay stubs, bank statements, receipts for housing or loans) must be uploaded with your application. 

If finances will be an issue, we encourage you to seek outside funding from other sources. Upon request we will provide successful applicants with a formal letter to help them seek additional support.
