Polymath TIM MACGABHANN was born in Kilkenny, Ireland, and began his writing career as a music journalist while studying English Literature and French at Trinity College, Dublin. Based in Mexico City since 2013, he has reported from all over Latin America for outlets including Esquire, Thomson Reuters, AlJazeera, the Irish Times and the Washington Post. He has had fiction, non-fiction and poetry in Gorse, The Stinging Fly, Washington Square and Dublin Review. His novels Call Him Mine and How to Be Nowhere are published by Nicholson & Weidenfeld.  A poetry chapbook, Rory Gallagher — Live! — from the Hotel of the Dead, is forthcoming from Rough Trade. He holds an M.A. in Creative Writing from the University of East Anglia.
