Reyna Grande
This manuscript seminar is intended for writers with a novel or memoir close to completion. The seminar mainly consists of group meetings and individual conferences with the instructor. The group meetings are intended for discussions around craft and assigned readings. The intensive one-on-one consultations are designed for participants to receive individual attention and guidance on their projects. The instructor will give both written and verbal feedback with special attention to character, voice, dialogue, plot and structure, and pacing. Participants will receive individualized writing assignments based on their specific projects and will come away with new and revised material as well as a clear goal for their works-in-progress.
Please note: This is not a traditional workshop where participants will be critiquing everyone’s work. Writers will work individually on their own independent projects but there will be plenty of interaction with their peers during the group meetings and UTV events.
