Francisco Cantú is a writer, translator, and the author of The Line Becomes a River. A former Fulbright fellow, he is the recipient of a Pushcart Prize and a 2017 Whiting Award. His essays and translations have been featured in Best American Essays, Harper’s, n+1 and Guernica, and on This American Life. A graduate of the University of Arizona MFA program in Nonfiction, he now lives in Tucson and coordinates the Southwest Field Studies in Writing Program.
Francisco Cantú will be assisting Elizabeth Rosner in the memoir master class.
