Participants wishing to be met by our vans should plan to arrive in Mexico City between noon and 3 pm on Friday afternoon, January 10th. Others are free to make their own arrangements for the one-hour drive to Tepoztlán by either taxi, private car or bus. Details on all the above can be found here [link to relevant section under Master Classes].
Tepoztlán is generally sunny and dry in January. The climate is semi-tropical, with day time temperatures hovering 80 degrees F, but cool at night. Expect lush, exuberant flora that mix bugamvillea and palm trees with roses, pines, orchids, coffee, avocado trees and plenty of hibiscus.
The village is built into the foothills of the great volcanoes, Popocatéptl and Ixtaccíhuatl. Translation: steep hills, cobbled streets, uneven surfaces. A fleet of little white taxis make the village pretty accessible for everyone.
