Stay on and Write in Tepoztlán
We strongly encourage all master class participants and alumni to take advantage of our follow-up residency, which allows you to create a customized writing retreat immediately after the workshop program. Stay on in your original lodgings to continue your writing project as part of a small community of fellow writers. We recommend a minimum extension of two weeks; the length of your stay is up to you.
Residency participants receive an initial one-hour conference with UTV director Magda Bogin on the first day of the extension to help set goals for maximum use of this valuable, unstructured extra time.
Participants typically meet up for coffee and in informal evening gatherings to share work. Invited guest writers will also be in residence during this period and will offer public readings in the village and in nearby Cuernavaca.
A \0 fee covers your individual writing conference and our costs for setting up your residency housing and arranging return transportation. Proof of additional health coverage for the residency period is required of all participants.
